I was born and raised in Indiana and am a Birthright Friend (Quaker) - Valentine Hollingsworth fled from religious persecution in Ireland, traveling with William Penn, an English real estate entrepreneur, philosopher, early Quaker, and founder of the Province of Pennsylvania. Hollingsworth family farm is on a map of the 'stops' along the underground railroad. I know little more of my near roots and have some understanding of old story.
I started Extinction Witness in 2012 to support those who 'live in a world of wounds' and celebrate the compassionate response to the pain and suffering of injustice.
